Frequently Asked Questions
The EcoFlow 28W Portable Solar Panel warranty period is 1 year.
The actual efficiency of the solar panel will vary depending on many external factors, such as local weather conditions, sunlight intensity, the level of shade, orientation of the battery, temperature, positioning, or the presence of dust and debris. For instance, if you live in a shaded area or an area that does not get much sunlight, you might not get a high output or might even get no output.
Firstly, use a soft-bristled brush to remove any debris from the surface. Wipe surface with a damp cloth to remove any residual debris. You should remove any bird excrement or other debris that may get stuck on the panel surface as soon as possible, to avoid any performance issues.
The solar panel can generate up to 28W of output power, supplying power to the junction box's internal circuit. However, lighting intensity and buck/boost line loss can make this number inconsistent, and so the USB-A and USB-C ports use 18W and 20W fast-charging specifications to supply the external power output more stably.
The main use case scenario for this is to power devices such as mobile phones, camera, GPS devices, headlamps, and small-sized drones. It is not recommended to directly link to other power sources for charging.
When opening up the solar panel, the LED light is powered on, indicating that the power output is functional.
It can be used on overcast days. However, since the light output is generally lower on overcast days, the total output power might also be lower, reducing charging efficiency.
